The 250 foot clear span trusses supporting the roof of this busy regional airport are the largest bowstring trusses located on the East Coast. Using its own equipment, Timber Restoration's specialists replaced the failed bottom chord section on one truss with a new laminated wood section. Splits and decayed truss bearings were then epoxy-injected. In addition, the 30 foot columns were stitch bolted for added strength.
